NOSS — Nosso Open Source Summit

Sponsorship Proposal

Version 1.0 — April 2026

1. Overview

NOSS — Nosso Open Source Summit — is a Brazilian event dedicated to FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source Software).

The initiative is grounded in a simple reality: open technologies sustain global digital infrastructure, yet the people and communities behind them often operate with limited visibility, weak coordination, and ongoing sustainability challenges.

NOSS acts as a point of articulation for this ecosystem in Brazil, bringing together communities, contributors, and organizations through technical content, shared experiences, and collaboration.

2. Objectives

  • Strengthen the FLOSS ecosystem in Brazil
  • Connect communities, companies, and contributors
  • Increase visibility of projects and maintainers
  • Reduce entry barriers for new contributors
  • Support long-term sustainability and continuity

3. Event structure

  • 3 keynotes (60 minutes each)
  • Main track: 6 to 8 technical talks (30 min + 5 min Q&A)
  • Parallel track — FLOSS Fundamentals:

  • 6 sessions (30 min + 10 min Q&A)

  • Final panel

Total duration: approximately 9 hours of live streaming

4. Audience

  • 1,000 to 3,000 live participants
  • extended reach via recordings

  • technical communities

5. Reach and estimated exposure

  • live streaming via YouTube
  • recorded content available after the event
  • distribution through social media and partner communities

Estimates:

  • up to 9 hours of continuous brand exposure
  • 1,000–3,000 concurrent viewers
  • 10,000+ people reached through networks
  • long-term visibility through published content

6. Budget overview

To ensure operational quality and predictability, the event is structured across three execution scenarios:

  • Essential: R$ 5,000 (~$1,000 USD)
